Are you finding there's too much noise? Let's talk about it.

Loads of channels, updates, messages, and somehow everyone is still asking the same question. How do we help people find what matters?

That’s what we’ll be unpacking at our Brisbane meetup.

Join us for a practical, small-group conversation with other internal comms, digital workplace and Microsoft 365 professionals who are dealing with the same challenge. We’ll look at what’s driving the noise, what the data is showing, and what teams can do about it without simply telling people to “write better content” and hoping for the best.

📅 Wednesday, 26 August
⏰ 8:30am to 10:30am
☕ Coffee and light morning tea provided

What we’ll explore

  • What information overload looks like inside Microsoft 365 today, including duplication, poor targeting and channel sprawl
  • Why this rarely gets solved by better content alone
  • The structural levers that reduce noise, including governance, segmentation, ownership and rhythm
  • What changes when SharePoint, Viva Engage and Viva Connections work together properly
  • What the data shows about attention, engagement and behaviour
  • What tends to stall progress, and what actually shifts things

How it works

Arrive, grab a coffee and meet a few people who get it. We’ll start with a short framing from the SWOOP Analytics team, then open up the conversation around what’s creating the noise inside Microsoft 365.

There’ll be a few benchmarking insights to ground the discussion, but this isn’t a slide parade. It’s a practical chat about what people are seeing, what’s getting in the way, and what’s helping teams reduce overload in their workplaces.

Agenda

8:30am - 9:00am Arrival, coffee and networking
9:00am - 10:30am Diving into information overload - what it is, why it's happening, and what you can do about it
10:30 - 11:00am Wrap up and further networking

Come along and join SWOOP Analytics experts Fran Guidi, Matt Dodd, Sally Cull, and Purnima Kumari as they listen to your challenges, share what they’re seeing in the data, and help solve a few of the common sticking points.

Places are limited, and that’s intentional. This is designed to be a useful room, not a crowded one.
